The annual Single Malt Scotch event is hosted by Mr. James McCartney, Master of Whisky. It is a a six course dinner paired with selected single malts.
First - Glenkinchie 12yrs Lowlands served with quail eggs with capers, new potatoes with creme fraiche, endive boats with smoked salmon.
Second - Singleton 12yr Speyside with Tandoor roasted duck breast and cumquat chutney.
Third - Clynelish 14yr Coastal Highlands with poached fresh Alaskan cod with oyster mushroom.
Fourth - Oban 14yr Western Highlands with root of parsnips, celeriac and roasted beets with warm pomegranate vinaigrette topped with mango flavored taro root crisps.
Fifth - Cragganmore 12yr Speyside with Tandoor roasted venison chop with Burgundy poached pear and quinoa. Sixth - Cardhu 12yr Speyside with bruleed butterscotch creme and pistachio vanilla biscotti.
